A postdoctoral position in computational biology is available for a joint project between Tsinghua University in China and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. This project is led jointly by Prof. Jianyang Zeng at Tsinghua (http://iiis.tsinghua.edu.cn/zengjy/) and Prof. Xin Gao at KAUST (http://sfb.kaust.edu.sa).

The funding is available for three years, with year 1&3 mainly based at Tsinghua and year 2 mainly based at KAUST. The candidate should hold a PhD in computer science or a related field, with expertise in computational biology, and strong programming skills. Candidates with expertise in one of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: protein structure prediction, biomedical imaging processing, cryo-EM and deep learning. This position will offer plenty of opportunity to work with interdisciplinary groups at Tsinghua and KAUST. Regular communications/travels between Tsinghua and KAUST are a part of the duty.
